Our vision is to increase the quality of the lives of our local community, like-minded individuals, and future generations by working together as a family to carefully and thoughtfully develop and implement solutions to achieve our goals of nourishing and edifying by way of sustainable production methods.
It is our goal to promote natural, sustainable living by providing a platform for others who share our vision to celebrate, delight and rest in eco-friendly spaces, and to promote restoration through the natural processes in God’s Creation.

Our Story
Why we are here now
Die Tuin farm, situated in the Great Karoo near Victoria West, has been in our family since 1988. Our family farms with lamb, wool, and chicken. We have an extensive vegetable garden and orchard for home use and contribution to our local community. This allows us to be largely self-sufficient.
We have been motivated to move away from traditional farming methods and heavily commercialized food production.
To farming regeneratively, eating and producing seasonally and sustainably to allow us to lead a healthier lifestyle. This led us to the production of real, clean chickens, that are non-GMO, pasture-raised, antibiotic and hormone free and seasonally raised.
